UK audio chip firm raised<br> $10M and seeks CEO
Audio chip developer Global Silicon Ltd. has raised $10 MIliion in an investment round.
The fundings will be used to extend the company's product range and expand its operations in Cambridge and China. "This new capital will be used to recruit new engineers and further develop our software and chip design resources in Cambridge, application engineers in Fenggang, China and strengthen our management team with the appointment of a CEO," said Bill Jeffrey, chairman of Global Silicon to EETimes.
